Welcome to the Lexington Library!


Lexington is a Renaissance Empowered Educator School for Acclerated Reader!
Each of our students is a
read rock

 Students in Pre-K and Kindergartenenjoy a story time in the library once a week. Mrs. Shannon discusses authors,characters, themes, and much more!

Students in 1st and 2nd grade have a 45 minute time slot once a week. During this time they check out books on thier reading level. Mrs. Shannon also discuss authors, illustrators, book awards,themes, genre, and encourages independent reading. Students may also returnbooks and check out new ones during "Open Exachange" times during the week.
